D'ALESSANDRO'S WINES AT THE ROME FILM FESTIVAL

The young Sicilian winery partner of the first ‘StreetFood' at the Rome Film Festival

D'Alessandro's wines will be present till the 31^st of October at the Rome Film Festival at the Auditorium Parco della Musica , as a partner of the ‘StreetFood' project, created to promote a movable restoration that matches high quality of wine and food culture with the traditional Italian kiosk, that you can still find nowadays in squares or market places.

‘This participation confirms the winery's will to create an alliance between tradition and innovation, not only in the production of our wines but in every ours initiatives' declares Giacomo d'Alessandro and continues:' StreetFood is a project created for big events, where we can offer italian products to everyone. This is an occasion to present our wines away from the traditional settings, we hope the Rome Film Festival will be a good omen for our wines'.

D'Alessandro's wines for Telethon 2009

D'Alessandro's winery has participated at the 'Telethon Marathon' which has promoted a 60 hours fund raising for the genetic diseases research.

The young Sicilian winery has decided to participate at this event in order to remember how much is important to help and support people that dedicate their lives whith the purpose to help others.

The dinner took place at the 'Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes' of Palermo, in Sicily Monday, the 19th of January 2009.

The red wine Nero d'Avola Syrah 2007 produced by d'Alessandro's winery, has been awarded by the wine guide 'Vini di Sicilia 2009' with the 5 stars.

This excellent wine has been considered among the best 25 Sicilian lables.

From February 6 to 28, d'Alessandro's Siclian wines can be tasted in 'Casa Italia' after a national selection made by Enoteca Italiana instructed by the Italian Ministero delle Politiche Agricole, Alimentari e Forestali.

Enoteca italiana, selected the best wines for the two restaurants in the stand and for the wine bar.

D'Alessandro winery will be present with its best wines: Nero d'Avola-Syrah, Nero d'Avola, Grillo and Catarratto-Inzolia.

This is not the first time d'Alessandro's wines are selected for a worldwide sport event, its typical sicilian wines were selected even for the Games in Pescara 2009 last summer.
