Chinese in Sicily: desire of good and not expensive wine

They know the taste of Italian wine and they want to get a bargain. They look at the Sicily and at the South Italy because the wine is very good in this area and it is sold at a competitive price in comparison with the rest of Italy and the World.

“Do the Sicilian people know it?” it’s the first question of Sen Liu, a big Italian wine importers which is going to open around  one hundred wine shop all over the Chinese territory. “Do they know the potential of their land?”

Certainly Giacomo d’Alessandro noticed it, the owner of the hononym  winery d’Alessandro, located not far from the famous Valle dei Templi of Agrigento, and Daniele Lizza, in charge of the commercial and marketing  department.

Lizza showed to San Liu and his partner Dianxin Men the beauties of the landscape and the d’Alessandro winery and they were greatly impressed. “We really like Sicily and wines with  the best quality price range, like d’Alessandro’s are.”

Sen Liu said that usually Chinese people drive german cars,  dress Italian and drink French wine but he really believes in the good taste of the Italian wine.

This tour confirmed d’Alessandro’s  mission and philosophy,  organize for every customer and importer an ‘emotional tour’ to permit people to feel the territory, and show what there is behind a bottle of wine: not just business but  thousands of years of culture and  tradition.
